Confusion In My Home

One thing that baffles me about my gifts is how I can often inadvertently ignore what is right in front of me; what's residing in my home full time.  I don't know if it's because I'm used to the spirit's specific energy or I'm so distracted in my house doing motherly things (or some other reason entirely) but it's not unusual for me to lack the ability to see or hear a spirit in my home when they are continuously present.  One exception would be the dangerous man in my house in Kentucky, but even in California I felt like I was having one big game of cat and mouse in my house.  It definitely keeps things interesting!

When I first got to Germany and walked into my new house I let out a huge sigh of relief. The energy was light and airy, so unlike the house I had just left behind in Kentucky.  I took this energy as a good sign for our future here.  I expected to have no issues with a live-in ghost harassing us.  Sometimes I can be so wrong.  I am definitely still learning.

A few weeks after moving in my husband began waking me up to ask me if I saw the strange being standing in the hallway outside our bedroom door.  He would point and stare and insist something was staring back at us.   I didn't see anything but I believed my husband.  He has the sight too but doesn't nurture it like I do.  Each morning after he'd have a sighting he would explain in detail what the creature looked like: way too tall, almost entirely black, haunting eyes, and more.  It sounded creepy and not human.  I didn't know what to think.  I've never experienced anything like that.

After awhile I began noticing a figure pacing the hallway in the middle of the night.  I'd open my eyes and see a dark outline walk back and forth in front of the bathroom door and I'd stare as the light would be blocked out as he moved.  At first I would ask him who he was and why he was here.  He never answered me, only paced, so I eventually stopped asking.  He never felt menacing and he didn't bother us.  I eventually began rolling over and going back to sleep after each sighting.  He became part of the background, I suppose.

About a month ago my husband confided in me that he thought something weird was living in our son's bedroom.  I wasn't surprised since we had issues with that in California but I once again couldn't find anything.  Then one night I was up late sitting on the toilet (tmi, I know!) with the door open.  I was scrolling through Pinterest on my phone when all of a sudden one of my cats started to growl.  I looked out into the hallway and watched this creepy figure crawl up the stairs and go straight into my son's room.  I immediately pulled my pants up and ran into his room.  As I started to tell this thing to leave I watched it disappear through the glass door leading outside.  It was gone.  It simply vanished. As far as I know it hasn't come back.

The last thing I have experienced in this house (so far) just happened last week.  My husband works nights and he told me he would be home late the next morning because of a dentist appointment.  I woke up at 6:00 am and found all four of my animals in bed with me.  All three cats were looking in the direction of the stairs with flat ears and swishing tails.  They were on alert.  I looked too and began hearing feet shuffling around downstairs.  It sounded like how my husband paces (a side effect of his OCD) so I assumed he came home early.  Then I heard a deep voice clear their throat and then let out a huge exhale.  Again, I assumed it was my husband.  I got dressed and went downstairs to feed the animals and said "did your dentist appointment get canceled?" As I walked over to the couch thinking I'd find my husband laying down.    The couch was empty.  My breath immediately escaped me and my heart began pounding through my chest.  I searched the main floor and then ran down to the basement and searched there too.  There was no intruder but I picked up on a very intense energy that would indicate a spirit was in my laundry room.  I sighed, walked back toward the stairs, and shut the door behind me.  I didn't have time to deal with it right away.  When I came back after taking my son to school the spirit was gone.

At this point I don't know if I would classify my house as being haunted.  I have learned that between me, my husband, and my son, we are all like beacons of light to spirits.  They follow us everywhere and we all see them.  I try my best to put up protective shields for my family and me but I admit I'm not very good at it.  Truthfully, I don't mind having these frequent visitors.  I enjoy these spontaneous visits.  I find them exhilarating, exciting, and fascinating.  It really does keep life interesting, and I love my life to be that way.  I guess I'm weird like that.  ;-)

Thank you for reading my blog.

**In honor of Halloween (my favorite holiday) I'd like to do something fun. If you know of a house, building, or object that may be haunted please email me a picture of it and I will perform a FREE reading and tell you what I see. All I need is the picture and I will email you a description of what spirits are there (if any) and if they have any messages they'd like to convey. Please one reading per person. You may email me on FB or at
Happy Halloween!!
